Question About Pepto

If I really had cdiff again would Pepto make my stools solid again? I had D with M yesterday but took Pepto and stool is more solid but still cramps and M. If it was cdiff would the Pepto do that?

I've been on Pepto for years now, but it never helped with a full blown infection of c diff though. However, I did test positive a few times, with lesser symptoms and it did take care of that. It may have gotten better without it though. This was after FMT. It usually does help my IBS symptoms and M too. I take very little, but they treat h pylori with Pepto as well for weeks, so I would ask your doctor how long you can safely take it. The bottle says 3 days, but that is full doses.
