My article, Successful Holistic Treatment of Clostridium Difficile Gut Infection: Case Study, has been published in the Oriental Medicine Journal, July 2011, Vol. 19, No. 4, pp. 24-37.
I've made a copy of it but don't know see a way to attach it here. The pdf file is 15,264K, bigger than some people's email allows.
The article will probably soon be reproduced on the Peggy Lillis Memorial Foundation's website. If it's not included with "C. diff stories" (under "About C. diff" at the top of the page), perhaps it will be found under "Resources".
http://www.peggyfoundation.org/index.php
The issue can also be ordered directly from the Oriental Medicine Journal for $14. It's the issue listed at the very bottom of this page:
http://www.omjournal.com/archive.html
Wishing you all success in dealing with your own C. diff problems.

New Article Clinical Infectious Diseases
by mray » Fri Oct 21, 2011
An article in the latest edition, Nov. 15, 2011 reporting a pretty thorough review of fecal bacteriotherapy. This includes outcomes based on procedure (colonscopy vs. NG tube vs. rectal enema), donor (related vs. not) etc. It's pretty good.
I think you can only get the abstract, you may or may not be able to get the full text. If you have a library account somewhere, you can probably get the full article.

Nature’s therapy for recurrent Clostridium difficile ...
by Steve » Tue Oct 25, 2011
This might be a few years old, but it's a good short summary from a C Diff specialist as to why fecal transplant may be superior to most other forms of treatment:

Bacteria for Breakfast - Book about probiotics
Postby Lauren » Sat Jul 23, 2005
Kelly Karpa, PhD, RPh and a frequent past contributor to our site, has written a new book on probiotics called Bacteria for Breakfast. Dr. Karpa was motivated to do this research by her own frightening and frustrating experience with c-diff, when her son became ill with the disease. Kelly says of the book:
"I think its important for folks on the site to know that I've written this book with THEM in mind, because I've been there, right where they are. I can sympathize with their frustrations, their helplessness...everything. The book is a huge summary of everything that is known about gut flora and probiotics (and the relationship with C diff and other diseases), current through July 2003. It is based upon clinical trials --describing various probiotic trials, outcomes of those studies, etc. There are some quotes from "experts"--Borody, Allen, Surawicz, etc. and Dr. McCann sent me some of his data from some of his own studies. But the book isn't based on anecdotal stories--its based only on FACT from clinical trials..".
Dr. Karpa goes on to say, "I just want to help people find answers and get better educated. I want them to march into a doctor's office, book in hand, and say, "Look. Read this. I want to try this & here's the data to back me up."
If you are interested in ordering Dr. Karpa's book, you can obtain it from one of her web sites or from http://www.amazon.com.
Here is more information on her consulting business:

I just checked Kelly Karpa's contact info., and it is still good. If you have questions about probiotics and prebiotics, contact her.
Book by another former poster:
"Clostridium difficle: A Patient's Guide." by Christopher M. O'Neal, PhD. and Raf Rizk, MD. Illustrations by Marianne Khalil. O'Neal and his wife both had C. diff. so he wrote the book from experience. It is a helpful guide and is available on Amazon.com.
