Postby momo123 » Wed Sep 04, 2019 10:04 am

Hi everyone,

I wanted to check in and see if anyone has had anal fissures and how they treated them? I thought i had a hemmeriod but doc said no.. my stool has been normal and solid knock on wood ... but literally feels like my inside is tearing open when i use the bathroom in the am..

You might try Desitan, but the best cream in the whole world is Sudocrem - made for "napkin (diaper) rash, eczema, bed sores." I buy it when we go to the UK but you might be able to get it online. It's made by Forest Tosara in Dublin, Ireland. Google it. it sticks like glue and is soothing.

Good luck to you.

Sitz baths ,Preparation H cream. And don't wipe with normal toilet paper after a BM , use a Preparation H wipes (if you are not at home) but preferably wash your bottom with warm water and soap immediately after your done.

Also, ask your doc about stool softeners like Colace. Drink lots of water and get as much exercise as possible.

When I read about nitro cream it always crosses my mind that users should not sit down too quickly!
Might blow their butt off!
Or is that just in cowboy movies?
