I feel like I can finally post my success story.
Diagnosed May 2017
Caused by amoxicillin
10 days of Flagyl
relapse
14 days Flagyl
relapse
Month and a half taper/pulse Vanco
relapse
another Month and a half taper/pulse Vanco
Last pill November 14th.
4 months out and still doing well. It did leave some parting gifts. Hoping to get a SIBO test soon to find out if that is the cause of my IBS issues.

Thanks for posting. Hopefully, your symptoms will subside as time goes on. It takes a long time for the gut to heal.

I hope so. I talked to my GI's nurse about getting a SIBO test and she didn't seem to know what it is. She talked to my GI and they called around and none of the labs in my town do the SIBO breath test so they are ordering a kit for me to have that tested before doing the scopes. I might also see if the can get me the uBiome SmartGut test.
