Hi all,
I'm 4 days post FMT.. had my first bm which was solid and easy to pass. I had 2 more today as well. Starting to get nervous as it seems to be coming more frequently again. I really tried to keep the foods mellow.. toast, rice, banana, avocado, and chicken. Today I had a chicken sandwich with some lettuce.
Now I'm feeling the gurgling and gas pains. Getting a little anxious. Especially since tomorrow is back to work again.
Quick update: now it's 5-6 bms progressively getting more soft. Stomach is hard and painful. Starting to worry by tonight I'll be in full blown relapse.

I posted on your other thread too - watch the lettuce. It could be one of the reasons you are having issues.

Yes...watch the lettuce. I am 7 weeks post my 2nd FMT and I still have to watch what I eat. If I eat lettuce, it feels like I swallowed a bag of broken glass the next day. Also, I am still all over the place as far as my BM's go. But- it's getting much better.

Haven't relapsed yet...
still having pains and issues in regards to food. Haven't expanded much from chicken, rice, saltines, avocado, banana, and toast.
Today has been another bad day. Been running to and from the bathroom.

Avocado does not agree with everyone either. Some tolerate it, others don't.

Try baked potatoes or grilled zucchinis , they should be well tolerated.

Sophie, I'm doing ok. Trying to make it Day by day. I've made it so far without a relapse. I had a little scare earlier this week but I think it was a false alarm.
Dealing with a lot of depression and possible ptsd symptoms in regards to quality of life in general. Looking for a therapist that specializes in illness ptsd currently

Glad you are doing better. Keep up posted. Hope you find a good therapist. I went to one for similar reasons and she was not much help. She told me I was depressed because I was sick and that when I got better, the depression would go away - situational depression she called it. Gee, do you think?
