My first episode with cdiff began early in 2007. I was given antibiotics for a suspected ear infection and by day 2 on the antibiotics i was on the toilet all day.

The doctor prescribed flagyl which didn't really help very much. soon after i had a colonoscopy which diagnosed cdiff. Since 2007 i have had many bouts with cdiff symptoms tired flagyl and vanco but it always comes back.

In November 2009 i had a stool transplant which seemed to help but was put on antibiotics doxycycline which i thought was safe but not so. Within a week of taking the anitbiotics the old cdiff symptoms started again. Nausea fatigue etc you know the rest.
Right now i'm waiting to see the doctor next week to hopefully get some help and may do the infusion again this year.
