Hi, I'm Nora a 38yr. old nurse and I have been being treated for C-diff since mid-Sept 2002. I was on Clindamycin for 2 weeks beginning of Sept for a skin disease I have called hidradenitis supperativa. The Clindamycin is what caused the C-diff. I am currently on a 1 month decreasing dose of Flagyl and Lactinex tablets. I was previously on Flagyl x10days and Vancox2weeks both times I had a reoccurence. I'm in my 3rd week of the Flagyl and so far so good. I am extremely nervous to stop the Flagyl next week but I am looking forward to enjoying a drink! LOL Something I have had to abstain from since this began. Being a nurse I am also very concerned with the fact that about 2/3rds. of my patiets have C-diff! Well that's my stor for now.
