Hello all,
I googled lactobacillus and uti and found it is common to show in a urine sample that is contaminated from the vagina. (oops, can I say that here?)
Hoping that is your case, Karen. Mind you this was not a medically sanctioned site, but no treatment necessary...
Wishing you well,
Linda

Thanks Travis and Linda. I figured that's pretty much what happened, Linda. Today I'm feeling great and in no pain, so, this can't be a UTI...those symptoms don't come and go. My biggest concern, really, is that C Diff will come back b/c of abx I took. I'll breathe easier once my 90 days is up. :-) I'm confident that the problmes I'm having now will eventually get figured out and cleared up.

Update: 63 days past last Augmentin

Postby klt03301 » Thu Nov 12, 2009 12:19 pm

Thank you, Linda.

I'm now 63 days past my last Augmentin and doing well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll make it to 90, even though I know relapse can happen after that (according to ID doc but chances are slim.) He said most relapse while on abx or w/in 2-3 weeks. I know others here have relapsed past 2-3 weeks. I' now down to 2 florastor a day and 2 of my regular probiotic. By the way, I had posted that I'd developed acne during my florastor intake...it has cleared up since lowering the dose. I'll still take acne over C Diff any day!

Karen
