I went to the hospital to visit a friend this weekend. On every hand sanitizer dispenser out side each there was a sign that said NOT FOR C DIFF. IT creeped me out .

It doesn't creep me out, Mia. I'm glad to see hospitals are posting such signs! I went to see my PCP today, and her nurse wasn't even aware that the sanitizer doesn't kill C Diff. I had to educate her. :-( She washed her hands before touching me, and when she left.

Exactly I could not believe that the staff would think sanitizer kills c diff. and that they have to be reminded
