Gynazole.1 Vaginal Cream

I am 6 months post cdiff and have been battling with vaginal burning and itching for a few months. Urine culture, bacterial swab tests and urinalysis have all come negative. The doctor has given me Gynazole.1(Butoconazole Nitrate vaginal cream, 2% 5g) I was wondering if anyone else has used this before safely? I will be grateful for any suggestions and comments.
