Tolevamer not better than standard therapy???

HI all
I was so upset to read the new article under"media" regarding tolevamer stage III trial results stating that is not better than vanco. It didn't say about how it fared in regards to reoccurences compared to vanco. I have been researching to find this info out so if anyone comes across this please let me know. I can't believe this as I was hoping that this could be an option for me if the xifaxan doesn't work. I hate this bug!!!

I have not come across any data on relapsing Cdiff but I was also was very disappointed to see the results of stage III trials. Ditto on HATING this bug.
