Coffee?

Postby mrsp » Sat Jun 24, 2023 7:46 am

I was diagnosed with c diff after clinda, like many others here. Thankfully mine seems to have been very mild, although I did experience some mildly bloody mucus the day of diagnosis. I’m now on day 9 of 10 day tx with Vanco and feel completely normal. Have been symptom free for 5 days with vanco and florastor. So my question for all the coffee lovers like myself in the group…when did you resume drinking coffee? I just drink a cup in the mornings but I miss it terribly!!! Husband and I are traveling out of the country in two weeks so I don’t want to do anything to risk relapse, but man…I miss my coffee.

I took my time with coffee or anything else that could irritate the gut. I stuck with a bland diet for a long time post treatment.

You can always give it a try with a small amount, I slowly added things back

Take Care
