Cdiff smell after recovery

Postby jackie24 » Tue Nov 30, 2021 8:48 pm

Has anyone experienced the Cdiff smell after recovery and with solid stool? Every time I go to the bathroom to have a bowel movement it still smells like that Cdiff smell.

My GI told me that until the GI flora gets back to a more normal, you can have that happen. As long as you don't have D, I would not worry about it.

Woke up this morning with pudding looking stool and I have been 4 times already this morning. The doctor sent a order in for a stool sample so I am hopefully they will run it being not liquid.

OP, did you ended with a relapse? I have solid to softer stool with no D but my stool has faint fishy smell, I suspect it is the little mucus that comes with it.
