Upper back pain flagyl

I started having awful upper right back pain, behind my lung when I started my Flagyl treatment about one month go, on March 2nd, I thought it was a side effect of Flagyl. But I have been off Flagyl for about 20 days now and i still having the same moderate/severe (5 of 10) back pain. Is it a Flagyl side effect? Can a side effect last for a month? It hurts when I am sitting down or standing, it is not related to movement.

I also have started coughing for past 5 days, mainly dry cough. Now, I am worried if the upper back pain is not related to Flagyl, And it combined with coughing maybe a lung issue. I don't really want to get lung cancer screening at hospital during COVID 19 pandemic.

Some days my cough clears for 2 hours so and than it is back. I guess cancer cough would be more constant? I smoked for 27 years, quit 8 years ago and I get screened for lung cancer every few years, b/c of smoking and b/c my half brother died of lung cancer when he was 52 years old . I was screen Jun of 2019, about 10 months ago, and my lung looked fine then.
Male 54, contracted C-Diff on Feb 5, 2020, diagnosed on March 2nd, Took Flagyl for 8 days, Vanco for 10 days, relapsed 5 weeks post-Vanco. finished Dificid Taper on June 20 relapsed two weeks later, had the FMT on July 14th, 2020

I don't remember anyone posting about that kind of pain with Flagyl. Usually it is in the hands and feet, but if you are concerned, I would call your doctor and ask him or her. If you have had the pain for this long it is good to check.

I am still having so much upper back pain. The pain started When I was on Flagyl, two months ago. The paint is somewhat severe, 4 or 5 out of 10... I asked my GI doctor and he said, it is not C-Diff . What can it be?

Maybe you should see a rheumatologist or orthopedist.
