Ph levels of c diff positive

I read recently that in a study, it was found that 96% of patients that had c diff also had pH levels above 7. It would seem that c diff likes an akaline environment.

This seems related to how probiotic rich foods have an acidic taste. Could it be that a diet in acidic foods can help recovery and relapse? I think it would.
