Methylprednisolone

I have a friend who has to take this steroid. She has had cdiff and an FMT 2+ years ago. Is this safe to take gut wise?

Is this a pill? Steroids do lower immunity, but she should check with her doctor. I'm sure a lot depends on the dose and strength.
