yeast infections, should i treat them?

Hi there -
I finished my 10 day course of vanco for a mild c diff infection about a week ago. Now I have some yeast problems; I seem to have developed oral thrush and a vaginal yeast overgrowth. I still have some burning stomach pain and occasional diarrhea, which makes me believe that the c.diff might still be hanging around.

I've looked at the other posts on this board about treating yeast with Diflucan. I wonder if this will disrupt the delicate balance of flora in my stomach and make c diff come back in full force. Should I wait longer to see if it goes away on its own? Has anyone had their c diff return from using antifungals?

I've read about how candida and c.diff have a close relationship. "In the presence of C. albicans, C. difficile was able to grow under aerobic, normally toxic, conditions" (https://msphere.asm.org/content/1/6/e00187-16)

And candida can also reduce the efficacy of fmts. "C. albicans reduces FMT efficacy in a mouse model of CDI, while antifungal treatment reestablishes its efficacy, supporting a potential causal relationship between gut fungal dysbiosis and FMT outcome." These studies make me think I should go ahead and treat the yeast, and if the c. diff comes back, I could treat that again too. I guess I am just hesitant to put more things in my body, these last few months have been literally so sh!tty.

I took Diflucan for thrush during my treatment with vanco. It didn't result in any recurrence.
