Cdiff test

Postby Medena » Wed Mar 20, 2019 4:10 am

I'm sorry to bother,
I just had cdiff test done because of a few rough days, but it was not the usual PCR that I'm used to.
It is Lateral Flow Rapid Chromatohraphic Immunoassay test.
Is this test accurate? I can't find any data on it.
And can you immagine, the day I had the sample tested was the only partly formed bm day. As if it knew I will get it screened so it behaved.

That's the GDH test (followed by toxin test if GDH is positive).
Its accurate.
GDH positive, toxin negative is a NEGATIVE result, some Drs misread that and it results in over treating.

thanks Roy,
you're the star!
Negative it is then, which leaves me with more tests to be done to find out whats wrong with me then.
