How long to let bleach sit?

How long to let bleach sit?

I've been cleaning and have only been letting the bleach solution sit for 3 minutes. Now I just read it needs to be between 5 to 10 minutes. Which do I do?

The Clorox Health Care wipes, which are certified to kill C. Diff, and smell just like a water and bleach solution, say 3 minutes. The Clorox Health Care spray says 2 minutes. I'd say 3 minutes should be good.
