Is everyone dairy free?

Postby Messydre » Wed Nov 07, 2018 5:46 pm

I'm wondering if anyone has added dairy to their diet ? How soon into recovery ? What did you try? What were your symptoms when you weren't ready and when you were?

I added in dairy slowly about a month into recovery. I was never completely dairy intolerant. There are still some types that I cannot eat. Milk (only if I drink it plain), ice cream, and some cheeses. I am able to have half and half, yogurt, some cheeses like cheddar, and milk in small amounts plain or cooked in things. If I eat the wrong kind of dairy, I don't get D but I get gas and cramps.
