Anyone with constipation?

I have 1 day left of my 14 day course of vanco and I haven't had a bowel movement in 5 days. I don't even feel like I have to poop. Is this common? Will it change after I'm off the meds? Before I had c diff i would only have a bowel movement every 2-3 days. Believe me, I'm in no way complaining after having diarrhea 20 times a day.

It can happen after any major clear out.
For example it's not unusual if someone does not go for a few days or even up to a week after a colonoscopy.
If it causes swelling like your pregnant see a Dr

That's good to know! I was getting a little nervous. I hope this means no more diarrhea though as well!

Don't think you have a problem unless you get very bloated and unable to pass gas ,crampy etc.

Check with doc but if this continues, you might try fiber.

Unfortunately I think I have cdiff again (3rd time). I wish for constipation right now.

Ask for a 10 day course of Alinia. The generic name is nitazoxanide.
