Can Cdiff come back after 9 months and two negative tests and no antibiotics?

Sure. It can lay dorment for a lomn period. I've been battling CDiff for a year and a half now (currently typing this from a hospital bed, admitted today for cdiff).

My longest remission was 3 months. In that period, I Had some occasional symptoms, but two negative tests. I tested positive again last month and have been battling it since.

My infecton control and GI docs warned me about contaminated surfaces in my home coming back to haunt me. I try to clean everything with bleach these days.
