Now I have question on Vancomycin

Postby Ismaila » Mon Mar 28, 2016 5:22 pm

Dear friends,

how long before Vancomycin start giving some results? I started last evening, and I am about to take my fifth pill. Not much change at all. Also, when a person relapse , are the symptoms usually worse? It seems to me I am worse off now, than when it first hit me.

Thank you all!

It usually takes three to four day to "kick in.". Do not expect immediate results. You might call a pharmacist for the most accurate info.

I agree with Bobbie and often tell people to call the pharmacist. Information on these medications does change and they are up on all changes.
Give it some time to work, hopefully you will start feeling better in a few days
