Does Vanco give the runs

Just started Vanco last night & I've got the runs again. Is it the Vanco or the c-diff? I had some of this last time, but not so early on.

Can't really say either way. If it continues contact your Dr. and see what they say. Vanco does cause D for some. I had very loose mushy stools but felt much better taking it. You should not have watery D so if that is what you are having then I would call Dr. today before the weekend. Mushy piles is not the same as D. Make sure you aren't telling Dr. that you have D if it is just mushy and loose, not the same thing. Hope you get rid of this soon, ask Dr. if you can take Questran with your Vanco, it helped me. Yes, watery means all water. If you have any stool with any kind of form, meany mushy etc. its not D. Hope this helps. Always consult your Dr. anyway to make sure.

Wish the cramping & gas would go away...didn't have it much b4 I started on Vanco.
