To take Vanco or not to take

Postby foots » Thu Jun 11, 2015 7:54 pm

I am apparently having a relapse of c-diff after taking vanco in April. I suddenly got watery d & nausea for several days.

Doc tested me & I have it again, but now the symptoms are gone this afternoon. To take the vamco or not? I don't know what to do.

If I were you, I would hold off on taking the Vanco. It sounds like your body is fighting it off on its own, which is the best case scenario. If things go south, you can always start it then.

Started to feel very sick after dinner, so I went ahead & started it.

So sorry, Foots that you are feeling sick, and dealing with this beast again. Stay positive and hopefully the vanco will work quickly. Maybe since you have had periods of feeling ok, this will be a milder round of symptoms for you. I hope you feel better real quick!

Keep us posted,
Lisa
