Rifampin

I saw an infectious disease doc for the first time today. I asked about a number of treatments, including rifampin (to be taken with vanco). She does not recommend it for me at this time, because it can inflame the liver, and it interacts with a number of other drugs. Also, it makes your urine orange, but who cares about that.

When my doc ran out of ideas, I took Rifampin along with Vanco. It didn't work, but maybe it could work for others. The side effect of orange urine wasn't a problem.
