Sarah, Sorry you are still doing poorly. Have you gone back to the BRAT diet? This always calms things down for me. Also Pepto, if your Dr. okays it. Hope you are feeling better soon. Carol

Any probiotic can cause GI symptoms, not just VSL#3. I tried various. The worst one for me was Florastor, even though most people do well with it. I tried Align, Culturelle, and a few others. VSL#3 is the one that helps me the most, but I don't take the entire capsule. I only take a small amount out of the capsule with applesauce every night before I go to bed. Whatever probiotic you take, I would start off slowly. Take part of a capsule and gradually work up as your intestines get used to it. I got cramping and D with Align and Culturelle and horrible gas too. The same with Florastor, but add a rash to it. Florastor made me feel as if I were a hot air balloon about to blow up.
