I am a 36 year old otherwise healthy canadian woman who has c diff also. we are everywhere! get a good GI doctor and begin the journey to recovery. i have spent months scanning this site for tips on making myself feel better and avoiding spreading this to anyone else(my 2 small kids!) a really good probiotic, florastor, colestramine (from my doctor) and my hot water bottle have been my best friend for the last couple months while i wait to produce a positive sample for the docs. I am on my second round of vancomicin (tapering now) and hoping it goes away this time!! i had a nasty time with flagyl also and never want to use it again. hang in there, we are here supporting you.
