rifaximin and vanco together?

Wondering whether members have taken rifaximin and vanco at the same time to fight recurrence? What was the dosage--how much vanco a day along with the rifaximin?
Wife had tried the rifaximin alone earlier this year with no success and a couple of months later the c-diff came back. Infectious disease doc talked about pairing it with vanco today.
Any help/guidance appreciated.
