Food grade hydrogen peroxide therapy??

Postby junbug1029 » Mon Jun 16, 2008 10:43 pm

I went to my local health food store for more probiotics and the owner suggested taking food grade (35%) hydrogen peroxide to increase the amount of oxygen on the cellular level. C diff is an anaerobic bug and doesn't 'like' oxygen. I found an article online by Dr. David G. Williams named 'The Many Benefits of Hydrogen Peroxide' which talks about the theories of ingesting H2O2 and ratios for dilution.
Has anyone heard of this or tried it, specifically for c diff?
I am grateful for this site and everyone's suggestions. I've learned so much!

Roy, yea that's what I thought, too, but I guess it was worth investigating. I finished a 14 day course of Flagyl (my second) about three days ago and am in the limbo phase of not knowing if another recurrence is around the corner. In addition to feeling wiped out from the c diff I'm now fighting a cold, too. : (
I know all will get better, and was hoping for another possible treatment.
Thanks for everyone's help. I don't feel like such a freak!
