Bananas?

Postby RNIAM1075 » Tue Jun 03, 2008 10:24 pm

I keep seeing posts about eating bananas and how good it is to do after having C. Diff. What does the bananas do? My 5 month old daughter is 15 days out after finishing Vancomycin and I am trying to do all I can to keep her well! I have been feeding her bananas, but just because she likes them............

I think that bananas are very easy to digest, so they help our innards heal during and after cdiff.

Thanks! I will keep giving them to her. I tried her on peaches about two weeks ago for the first time and they gave her loose stools. I tried them again yesterday and the same thing. I guess peaches will be out of the question for a while.
