renal failure following colonoscopy?

Worthy material...I'm wondering if any of us have experienced any symptoms following colonoscopies? I'm getting ready to have on next week! What else could they use to prep you for one?

Hi Jaspore,
The info on renal failure is scary! Make sure you ask for a different prep than Visicol when you go in.
I have an appointment as well for a colonoscopy. I'll mention it to my Dr. ! They have pills now, that you can take. About 21 of them and they are easier than the yuckie liquid stuff. I don't know the brand name for the pills, but your Dr. should know. It was mentioned on this forum a couple of times by people who took the pills.
