Recovered c-diff w new UTI

I recovered from c-diff Nov. 2021. Just diagnosed with uti and possible ear infection. Dr decided to put me on Vantin to take care of both. She is aware of all my difficulty c-diff. I am scared to take it. Is it one of the “safer” drugs to take w past c-diff?

Check with your doctor. I believe many on the site have taken Macrodantin. I am allergic to it so my infectious Disease specialist will only give me " Monurol" for a UTI. I have not had to take it yet.
It also depends on if they did a Culture, that will list what the infection is sensitive to.
