Normal for recovery or no
57 F finished one round of vanco late March. Have been steadily getting better, appetite normal, feel good. My issue is I now get D once or twice a week which never happened prior to cdiff. It doesn’t last it’s not like cdiff so I know it’s not a recurrence but just wondering how many of you have the same issue? Could it be post infection IBS and if so does it ever just get back to normal? Thanks for any help.

Hi there! My specialist told me there would up and down days. And NOT to expect any consistency for a while due to post IBS! I still have them and I’m almost a year out- he said time is my cure at this point!

Thanks for your reply. Sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy, ended up with cdiff despite no antibiotics and now different stomach issues, everything from nausea to indigestion to D. Sooo sick of this, all I want is my old life back….as does everyone on this board :)

Takes a long time to get things back to normal, if they ever do. (I have permanent damage) I worried every time I went to much, to loose, after it. Worried left with time. You'll know when it's back
