Antibodies after c diff?

Antibodies after c diff?

Do you get antibodies after you recovery from treatment that would protect you from future infections? I was reading a book about c diff and it wasn’t making sense to me. Maybe you have to fight off c diff with no antibiotics to get thr antibodies? But if we do get antibodies, why do we get reinfected if we take antibiotics again?
