2 Years Out

Hi,
I Was on this forum a couple of years ago but could not locate my information so I created a new account. I suffered from this illness for almost a year and it’s been over two years now since I have had it. My question is, can you get this illness or can symptoms come back without taking antibiotics? I know you can contract the illness and get reinfected by spores on surfaces etc. however can it just come back on its own is my question. I have not been on any antibiotics and I have not been in the hospital.

Hi Chris

We have had a few rare posters who got this just "out there" but honestly we do not see that on the site too often. I actually took antibiotics a year or two after and did NOT get it. So, if you are having GI symptoms, it may be due to something else. If symptoms continue, check in with the GI who treated you.
