Excessive Weight Gain

I’ve searched through the forums and the only reason
I can possibly find for my 10+ lb weight gain in 1.5 months if vancomycin. I did see it in the list of side effects.

It appears everyone else with CdI has lost weight - I don’t have too much of an appetite but I’m gaining. Currently waiting for the FMT after 3* (4plausible ) rounds of CDI and vanco. This is the only time I’ve been on it so long and I am swollen in the abdomen, nothing fits etc.

I am concerned post FMT and stopping vanco will this help me? Has anyone else experienced this? I’m still on vanco until FMT out of state - just waiting on the results of the testing from my donor. Thank you!

It is probably just water gain, but I would check with Dr. Kelly.

Hoping for good news for you after the FMT.
