Re: Diet after cdiff
Hi debbie
i have continued on a bland diet and it works for me. I have postIBS and find a very bland diet helps. I eat Chicken, cooked vegetables( generally carrots and green beans) potatoes( baked in the beginning) toast, canned fruit, and added things slowly. eventually I added salads, fresh fruit but this took time and I went slow adding only one thing per day. I now eat activia but the yogurt is dairy which I did not eat for a few months.
Some go right back to their normal eating, for me it took time for the gut to heal and I went very slow.

Try egg white omelets, whole grain toast, turkey and chicken, oatmeal, whole grain pasta, vegetable and chicken soups, brown rice etc. you can do a google search for sites, but generally you want whole grains, high fiber but low roughage, low fat foods, low dairy, until you find out what you can tolerate post c diff.
