I’m 30 days post Flagyl, having typical recovery symptoms and was just told I need an MRI on my prostate due to a high PSA. So I’m supposed to prep by doing either a Fleet Enema or Laxative Suppository.
Will this facilitate a relapse? Should I choose one over the other? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

No, neither will cause a relapse. As to which option to choose, that would depend on your personal preference. Your pharmacist might be helpful in guiding your decision.
If your illness was preceded by use of a medication, e.g., an antibiotic, please fill out an FDA Adverse Event Report at http://www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/default.htm

I think the Fleet enema doesn't affect your whole colon as much, at least that has been my experience. But, good idea to ask the pharmacist.

I did a fleet enema twice when i needed a rectosigmoidoscopy and it never bothered my gut or made me relapse .
