Pepto bismol

Is pepto bismol safe to take? I am 2+ years post cdiff and FMTs and am having a bad day IBS wise.

I’ve taken Imodium to manage at times but recently have taken too much and it made me feel very ill.

I take it and my Gi said it was safe to do.

I’ve taken it numerous times. I can’t take it now that I’m pregnant but took it a lot before I got pregnant again.

I've taken it occasionally since my experience with c.diff a few years ago and had no issues.
