Day 3 1/2 of Liquid Vanco, and Some Questions

I’m on day 3 1/2 of liquid vanco and it seems like I’ve gone from one extreme to the other. I don’t have anymore watery D, but now I feel C. I’m still going several times a day, but now it’s mush and I have M, but every time I go I feel like I have to push hard and I don’t feel like I’ve got it all out and usually have to go again within a couple of hours. I also feel bloated. I also feel gassy and my stomach cramps sometimes. I don’t remember having C the first time I had C Diff. Is it normal of C Diff or Vanco to have C? The only other medicine I’m on is Mirtazapine which is a older anti anxiety medicine that I’m using for off label use. I took myself off my PPI when I first started back with symptoms. I did start a s. Boulardii probiotic.
I still feel rough. I still feel nauseous, have loss of appetite, still feel the racing heart on and off, and still feel exhausted. I barely want to eat. I have to force myself. I’m hoping I start feeling better soon. The first time I had C Diff I was feeling better on day 3. I was going to try to go back to work, but right now I don’t feel like I can. I’ve tried all the home remedies for nausea including ginger and the sea bands and nothing works. I have Zofran and Phenegren and it only takes the edge off. I feel so down on myself that I still don’t feel better.
I also have the problem where I can’t get warm. I stay freezing all the time. Did anyone have that problem?
I have a appointment tomorrow morning with my GI.

Give the Vanco time to work, my experience was very similar the 3 months I was on Vanco. It took time and I had good days and bad days. Some are very lucky and feel good while on treatment. It is very individual, the gut needs to be treated and heal. This is a process that takes time.
The nausea is very difficult, the Sea Bands helped me a great deal, I am sorry they have not worked for you.
Sometimes having no food in you can continue to cause the nausea, try something like chicken soup, something bland.

It can take time and its very frustrating, I remember feeling one day great.......then the next not well. It is difficult to work and some take time off. I was able to work but did not feel well most of the time.

You will get through this, hopefully you will slowly notice things are improving

That also happens to me when i start to taper the vanco. I go several times a day but no D , it's actually on the C side and feel gassy and bloated but after a day or two this settles down.
