Well, I am 8 days post round 2 of 10 days of Flagyl. I have had consistently formed BM for 4 days. Woo!

I think it may be too soon to consider this a success story, but it does feel promising.

Keeping my fingers crossed and my probiotics going!

Sounds good, but do expect some "off" days as it's all part of recovery.
Anything but watery D is normal so don't panic if things are not perfect all the time.

Continue to watch your diet. It’s a big mistake to tempt fate and start eating everything too early because you are feeling well.
Best of luck to you. I hope this has done it. The second time I took vanco but the second round did it for me.

Glad you are feeling good for now and hopefully you will continue to improve but as other said , you are not "out of the red zone" yet so try to stick to bland foods and continue to take your probiotics.

Hi folks - I actually did really well! Yes, I have had a few "off" days, but nothing drastic or even close to on a regular basis.

Good for you! Thanks for coming back to let us know. It's nice for people to hear about a less complicated situation once in a while. Continued good health.

I was great for a couple of weeks after treatment. After that it was up and down progress for the next six months, getting better with each cycle. It's unlike a typical infection in that finishing antibiotics isn't necessarily the "out of the woods" moment. The "3x3 rule" for loose BMs seems to be a good indicator of progress. I had 2x2 "D" a couple of times during recovery, just FYI.
