I am on day 8 of treatment. I fell asleep and missed one dose of vanco. It was actually about 10 hours between doses instead of 6-8. I am freaking out!! Am I going to cause a relapse?

I wouldn't think that it would matter. I don't think you should double up though. You will just have an extra pill at the end to take. You can always contact your pharmacist or doctor with your concern, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I missed several doses due to the vomiting I had with CDIFF. I continued to follow my regular doses and ended up with an extra day. I don't believe this caused me to relapse. If you have any questions when it comes to your medications, call your pharmacist. They are a wealth of information and there to explain each medication.

You will not going to relapse because you missed one pill of Vanco . If you , GOD FORBID , do relapse it will be because Cdiff is a relapsing disease not because you did something wrong. Don't beat yourself , and try not to obsess over relapses , think positive , you won the battle.
