Hello Lid49 and Welcome to the site Please read the first thread for all new posters

It sounds like you have been through a lot! First if you work in a hospital even without patient care you are at risk. I also work in a hospital and take extra precautions.
After your FMY did you test positive again? It's not clear if you actually tested positive or have had severe watery diarrhea that has continued. Many of us get Post IBS and symptoms can be all over the place. If you still have diarrhea and symptoms on Vanco I would go over this with your GI or ID or BOTH at this point. The one thing I would consider IF you actually still have CDIFF is a Difcid taper. It is the one thing that did work for me and many other's on the site.

My concern is if you are still dealing with CDIFF. I would review with both ID and GI

I did not do well on vanco. It gave me nausea, gas and pain too. I had FMT, but I had to have more than one. Maybe if you tried a Dificid taper and if does not work, another FMT.

Before FMT you need to take an antibiotic anyway, so it may as well be vanco.

You need to discuss your treatment with your Dr.
If you have not had D for a long while you might be overtreating.

Don't think so. You must get that pain checked , it may be spondylosis or something else!

I was yesterday to see the Dr. I ask , they say probable no.. The problem is that I'm so drained not able to eat, and so depress. The nausea is increasing. I lost 12 pound. Dr. think is IBS on top of Cdiff.
Thank you Georgina. I'm also from Romania married and have a 19 years old daughter.

Wow , what a lucky coincidence!!
Lid you are very lucky girl , Mayo clinic is one of the best places to treat relapsing Cdiff . Glad you are not stuck in Romania (like me) otherwise it would have been very hard to get a knowledgeble doctor to look after you. Hope the FMT will do the trick. Be free to PM me anytime!
