Has anyone been on topical Metrogel and acquired C-Diff?

I have been on the vaginal metrogel twice in the last 2 years with no issue. It's a limited dose, as far as a gel you would use over and over it may be different. There are risks to all antibiotics but fortunately I have been able to use this twice with no issues.

I am sure you will also get other responses here, if you look up Metrogel in the search bar it has been brought up several times.

I have used it without problems. Not so with Cleocin. That gave me D and I used it just before testing positive gor c diff.

A also have used metrogel several times , had no issues from it.

I use metrolotion twice daily and have for years and have never had a problem.

It may have not had anything to do with my c diff but Metrogel was the only and most recent antibiotic I was on before getting c diff. I was also on a topical antibiotic cream for acne.
