Profuse, watery D numerous times a day with uncontrollable urgency and bad cramping.

The toxin test just isn't very good. It's a shame it is still being used, in my opinion.

The EIA toxin tests are not the same as before. Apparently they have been improved and many labs are doing them after a positive PCR because not all positive PCR tests need treating.

Rapid EIA test are not sensitive enough to detect many infections; they miss up to 30% of cases they cannot detect toxins if the amount of toxin is low grade or if the sample was kept at room temperature more then 2 hours . Toxins degrade fast at room temperature and the test will be false negative. My tests were always done in the first 15 minutes , that is how I always got a accurate test result.

Well, just got my latest results back -A&B/ GDH antigen/ PCR all positive. So there's that. I had tested twice before as PCR positive, A/B neg.

Unusual for all 3 tests to be done, your insurance won't be happy!
I hope the Dificid clears it.
Some posters said the symptoms took longer to go on dificid but we're cured.

Yeah that's what I've been reading about Difficid too. It was for that very reason that I almost did a Vanco taper instead. Not looking forward to the process...but I really hope it cures me!
I'm astronomically fortunate that my insurance covers 100% of these tests. I've only had them about five times now, so I'm sure my insurance is very unhappy.
