And . . none of the doctors who perform FMT are in Hawaii. No surprises there. I guess I'll have to fly to the mainland if I need one. I just hope I don't.

Dr. Stollman is in Oakland, near San Francisco. Another poster from Hawaii flew in and had hers done by him. He did my first one.

I am not sure where to add this but my GI and Infectious disease doc recently told me that Dr. Anthony Firilas at Roper Hospital in Charleston, SC is going to start offering FMT. I am not sure what his perimeters are for treatment but if my c diff comes back my GI will send me to him for a consult. I believe he is awaiting final approval from his hospital group but is taking consults for FMT. I have included his contact info.

(843) 958-1281 or (843) 958-1281.

I just discovered that the GI dr's at Inova Fairfax hospital in Fairfax, Va now do fmt's. Their no is 703-698-8960. I don't know the timeline or any other info but this is good news. Inova is just outside of Washington, dc and one of the largest hospitals in the country. Larry.
