Connie submitted this.

The United Ostomy Association has a discussion board and brochures: http://www.uoaa.org/ and there is a lot on this site: http://www.ostomates.org/ which is run by a woman in Australia who has had an ostomy since she was 9.

The biggest challenge for most people is finding the products and system that work best for them, since it is very individual. My son's worst problem was skin sensitivity.

]Madelaina contributed the following hyperlink. Thx. Madelaina.

I don't know anything about this site, but it appears to have some good resources and a "chat room" type of forum.

Always remember, however, if a site is selling something, it might be worth the $$$, and it might not. "Buyer beware."
