Up to date list of FMT doctors

Postby CDIUgh » Tue Oct 22, 2019 12:54 pm

Is there an up to date list of doctors who do FMT? I saw one on the OpenBiome site, but is that all that's out there. My local GI doctor told me if I failed Dificid he would do FMT but I failed and he insisted on trying Dificid again, this time for 30 days.

Our list on the site is not that up to date either. Some people have done a Dificid taper and it has worked. By 30 days, does that include a taper or is it taking the medication every day?

That was me (CDIUgh) that posted. I forgot I made an account and made another! My doctor wanted me to do twice a day for ten days then once a day for twenty but my insurance wouldn't allow me to get that many pills. I paid out of pocket for another twenty pills ($700 with magic coupons the pharmacist found!). I found a new doctor and am taking two pills at once every fourth day while I wait for an FMT.
