One Month Post FMT

Postby n0rs0n » Mon Apr 30, 2018 3:34 am

it was one month ago I had the FMT - and I still feel AWFUL most of the time.

NO energy and I'm forcing myself to take walks in the neighborhood/mall/big box stores, etc attempting to regain my strength. I fully recognize being for the most part recliner/bed bound for almost six months sapped my strength.

But I'm wondering how long it took other FMT people to fully get back to where they were pre-C Diff.

Thanks

Hi,
It will take sam time, you're body was under a lot of fisical stress and pain, depleted of vitamins and nutrients. Take you're time, eat and drink well, it will come back you're strain. It is good that you start to walk and go shopping. Ask you're Dr if you can take vitamins. Hope you feel better.
Lidia.

I would ask your doctor to take blood tests to check your vitamin levels - B12, B6, folate, vitamin D, A and also iron. If you are deficient in some of these (and many of us were), it can cause fatigue.
